too many conflicts

Do we just like to fight too much? Do those who want the fight just get too much power and attention? Do we value the fight too much? How do we weigh an unjust end against a forever fight?

There was a slogan a few years ago, "no peace without justice." When I saw that chalked on the sidewalk, all I saw was condemning ourselves to forever war.

How do we do either (forever stalled conflict or unjust end) without the worst of us winning?
